The Real Beginning.
In the spring of 1982, I was born in a quiet little town in Central Wisconsin. As a young child, I loved playing outside, and was often scolded for the numerous grass stains accumulated on my clothing or the amount of dirt I dragged into the house from my shoes.
Throughout my education, both of my parents were employed through the school district, which made it easy for them to keep tabs on me. For 5th grade I was actually lucky enough to have my own dad for my teacher!
After high school graduation, I spent a semester at the Univeristy of Wisconsin - Green Bay, before transferring to UW - La Crosse, located on the other side of the state. Throughout college, I switched my course of study a great number of times. Mathematics, to Computer Science, to Phys. Ed., and eventually settling on Recreation Management.
After graduating in 2005, I began working an entry level job with the City of La Crosse's Recreation Department. However, after only 9 short months, my position was in jeopardy due to union stipulations, and eventually I was let go...or set free, depending on how you look at it.
With no employment attachments, I decided that this would be a good time to pursue an assignment with the Peace Corps...which brings me to this point.
