First stop.
Erin arrived in Washington D.C. today, February 18th. She got there safely after a delayed flight, and a not-so-smooth landing. Needless to say, she had a slightly uneasy stomach upon arrival.
She then made her way to Georgetown, where she met all of her fellow volunteers. Her first session of staging was today, where they went over PC facts, and various icebreakers. They also talked about expectations of the experience ahead.
Tomorrow will undoubtedly be another information-filled day.
Come Tuesday, she will be boarding the airplane for, what will be, the longest flight of her life. Johannesburg her she comes!
